CSU COB recently had rebranding services by a local agency, where brand and website component look were redesigned for implementation into their new CMS. Additionally, there will be >20 content managers within the company, so permissions to modify content needed to be locked down.
During implementation, they realized a few interactive pages were never flushed out and a few questionable interaction patterns needed to be evaluated.
As the main redesign happened elsewhere, I came in as a User Experience Consultant to help connect any missing pieces as well as evaluate general usability, information architecture, and interaction design while our development team assisted with their new CMS migration.
Provided an easily scannable events calendar and list view to accommodate the most common contexts of use. Critically evaluated their work-in-progress website to uncover any potential usability issues before launch the site publicly within a couple weeks. Then set up a time to present in person to both their internal stakeholders as well as their marketing team my findings.
